Minimising absorption from eyedrops
To minimise systemic absorption and potential adverse effects, close eyes after administration of eyedrops, press gently but firmly on the inside corner of the closed ayes, i.e. press the tear duct against the nose, with index finger and thumb for at least one minute. Then remove excess solution with absorbent tissue.
